Can't select UVerse as Cable Provider through NBC Sports App and other applications/websites.
Every time I try to verify NBCSports, ESPN, etc. website or app to my UVerse account, I get the following error:
An error has occurred

An error occurred fulfulling the current request to https://zlp43001.vci.att.com/sps/authservice/authentication.This error was caused by an internal/unexpected error on the invoked protocol module leading to the exception displayed below.
Please validate configuration of the executing protocol and environment.
This is not a problem with the SPS.

I have seen this in forums without resolution, thought I would try here too. I can log into Uverse and Att, but not live sports via NBCSports App, or any of the other non-cable TV providers. You click on verify
cable providor, and after selecting UVerse this comes up. Happens on tablet, cellphone, and laptop.

I’m having this same issue and so is my daughter with her sub account email I’d and password. UVerse 400

This is a chronic problem that att is unable to get resolved with Comcast. If you retry at a later time it might work.
