I'll assume you're referring to the Starz app.
Yeah, that app has issues. There are times that it's apparent that it won't let me log on using my Uverse credentials and other days that it works like a charm.

Are you getting a bunch of random gobbledygook that looks like a website URL?
If so, that's a known bug. Keep trying.
