SYFY app login to AT&T Uverse
Whenever I attempt to run the SYFY app on my phone, I am prompted to choose my provider. I select AT&T Uverse and a window pops up saying that it is sending a message for login to my provider but I never get a login prompt and am not logged in.
I have contacted SYFY and they said it was an issue with AT&T Uverse. If I select any other provider, I get the login prompt.
I have deleted all data from all the AT&T apps and SYFY and deleted and re-installed several times.
I am now at a loss.
What can be done to actually stream from the SYFY App?

I figured it out by tracking down the path for the authentication via my computer login.
I am using FireFox on my phone as the default browser.
When I switched to Chrome, it started working (allowing me to login to AT&T Uverse)
I am not sure what is wrong with FireFox, but at least I have the solution.

Hi @leslie,
You might using your AT&T Access ID instead of your E-Mail address. Have an AT&T email address linked to your user ID? Your password is the same for your ID and AT&T email whether you sign in to att.com or https://soc.att.com/2YfcMxO.

I'm afraid that won't work. I don't get a login prompt.
It pops up a window to say that it is calling the AT&T Uverse login which disappears in less than 1 second. ( I had to pop it up several times to be able to actually know what it is doing.) Then nothing happens.
I spoke with SYFY app team and they said "you will need to contact AT&T U verse and explain what is happening, because the login page is provided by your TV provider. All we do is provide a button to press which directs you to the sign in page and you enter your credentials to authenticate with your TV provider"
But I thought there may be someone else who has resolved the same issue.

Thank you very much for trying. Now let's try to replicate the issue on a local computer.
Please go to: SYFY and then find the show that you want to watch or stream. After finding the show the provider choice log-in through be displayed and choose AT&T U-verse. It should give you the same message about contacting us, but the AT&T log-in page should coming up.
If that works, then the problem is localized on the mobile device.
Who is your mobile carrier?
What is the make and model of the phone?

It is strictly a phone issue. I can stream from my computer.
I have T-Mobile with an LG G6 phone running Android v. 8.0.0 (kernel version 3.18.71)

When I try to login to SYFY on my iPad Pro with my U-verse login I get this error:
Error details
An error occurred fulfulling the current request to https://zlp43255.vci.att.com/sps/authservice/authentication.
This error was caused by an internal/unexpected error on the invoked protocol module leading to the exception displayed below.
Please validate configuration of the executing protocol and environment.
This is not a problem with the SPS.
I’ve cleared my history, etc. I’m using their app. What’s the problem?
