My reward card will not activate

I received a $250 reward card on Saturday I have did all the right things by calling the back of the card in activating it it says it's activated but when I do call or try to use the card it saying decline it would not activate app tried to call someone through the reward center but it's saying that due to emergency it will not have anyone to take my call how am I able to activate my card so I can use it

Here's what I did. I had the same problem activating the debit card on the northlane website.

 1) I called the customer support no.877-200-8555. I selected option 2 (lost or stolen) and invoked the AI to activate the card. (Very realistic customer service rep), However, in doing so you don't receive a PIN . (My kingdom for a PIN!)

To get a PIN, you send a text msg to 445544 with the msg:'BAL'

2) You will get an automated message indicating that that the mobile phone number is unknown and needs to be registered. It will give you a number. CALL IT.

3) Among the options is a SET/RESET PIN. Select that option and follow the prompts.

Hope this helps. 

Seriously, a plague on AT&T for not not issuing a straightforward check for a credit balance when a customer switches carriers. This is not good business practice on any planet.😒(It's vindictive).
