Is NBA League Pass available this season or not?

I ordered it through the Account Manager, the channels showed up, i watched a couple of preseason games but now none of the channels show any of the game programming information on the guide and i called support and they said the Uverse/NBA League Pass contract was cancelled a month ago.  Why did it let me sign up 2 weeks ago then???  Do I need to cancel LP with Uverse and sign up somewhere else?

Hello @NotAFanSoFar,

We understand you have a concern with your guide not showing upcoming events. Don't worry, we can help answer that.

What does it state were the game should be listed?

Could be that the guide hasn't updated. Please let us know what message displays there. The guide should update automatically.

Hello @NotAFanSoFar,

Let's address your issue!

This is currently a known issue that AT&T is working on resolving with no ETA.

Are you able to watch the games with no issues even though the programming guide isn't showing?

Also, have you tried restarting your receiver?
This will usually resolve most issues associated with the programming.

Please let us know if it does.

Hello, thanks for the support - resolving this issue would be awesome.  I was very close to signing up for outside services that would force me to pay for League Pass again, as well as the monthly cost of the service itself since the season has already started.  Current status is this:  Games are now showing up in the guide -as of last night- and look to be viewable but since the 1st game i can view is still 2 hours from now, I can't confirm.  However, the games in the guide all end on 10/29, which oddly-enough, coincides with the date that a free NBA League Pass trial ends (10/22-10/29).  Everything after 10/29 still shows as off-air in the guide.  My concern is that I'm only seeing games now because of the free trial period that LP is doing.  Since I've paid for the subscription already, I should see games beyond that date...

Answering your questions: No, I could not watch the games on the U-Verse TV before the programming info updated last night but as mentioned above, I'm assuming I can watch the games that are now showing up in the guide.  Also, I was able to watch games on the NBA App, using my Uverse login as the TV Provider.  I have restarted the receiver several times - same result.  No games in the guide after 10/29.

Lastly, as an FYI...the link you provided to restart the receiver was for a DirecTV receiver - I have Uverse.  Thanks!

@NotAFanSoFar,

You will be able to view more games as dates become available. Your subscription will continue as planned.

Thanks - I guess I'm still a bit confused.  Games ARE scheduled and available - I can see the entire League Pass season schedule with the NBA App.  Why would the guide not already show them (at least for the time-frame the guide covers)?  What do you mean, when they become available?  I'd like to set up recordings in advance for the games I want to watch but can only do that if the guide has them listed in advance and currently it only shows games through 10/29.  When should I expect to see non-promotional games, past the 29th, in the guide?  Also, will this be normal for the entire season...that the guide will decide to show games 'whenever', even if they're already set and scheduled???  Appreciate your help figuring this out.

Thanks, the guide shows 'Off Air' for every time-slot on every League Pass channel past 10/29, which is when the League Pass free preview ends.

Update:  The guide is now showing games beyond 10/29, so it looks like I'm finally all set!  As mentioned in my initial message, tech support told me from the start that the service was not going to be offered - although I had already subscribed - and was going to cancel my service and try to issue me a refund.  I told her not told her not to do anything and hung up and posted to this forum instead.  It might be good to make sure those support agents are informed better next time.

I'll reach out again if new issues come up.  Thanks for the help!
