Samsung galaxy Z flip 4

I purchased this phone in Nov 22. In Feb 23 the phone fell out of my pocket. It had a phone case that was rated up to 13 feet. It fell 4 feet max. It had an horozontal illuminated line on it after that prevented the top half of the phone from working. I tried taking it to a repair shop but they said it couldn't be fixed. I used my insurance and got a replacement. Exact same phone. The exact same thing happened again, as I was getting out of a car the phone slipped out of my pocket and fell less than 3 feet. It also had a protective case recommended by an Att service rep. Same illuminated horizontal line showed up and the top half of the phone stopped working. I did not want to receive another Samsung flip 4 phone so I traded it in for another type of phone. I'm asking for some help with recouping some of the money I've had to pay for this malfunctioning phone. I've spent hours on the phone with many people who have been absolutely NO help. My email is [email scrubbed]

Please help

It "malfunctioned"because  of physical damage, because you dropped it. It's nobody's fault but your own and no one is going to compensate you for damaging your phone.  Your only option for a damaged phone was getting it replaced and paying the deductible. (That's what the insurance was for)

Hopefully you've purchased a phone that doesn't have moving breakable parts and have put it in a good case with a good screen protector since you seem to have oppsies twice a year.

You might want to consider one of those lanyard thingies so that you can attach the rope to your wrist or your neck and you won't drop your phone quite so much.

Thanks for your reply. Appreciate your "opinion". No matter how ridiculous it sounds.

Thank you for your reply. Like I stated in this post, I have insurance and used it the first time at a cost of over 300.00 to me. I chose not to use it again because I didn't want another  Z flip 4. I believe the phone is faulty. I'll ask around on other AT&T forums and sites if others have had similar problems with this phone as well. I'm sure I'm not the only person who has had this issue. Again, thank you for your response.
