Alcatel att to Samsung metro

I currently have a prepaid phone and it is Alcatel att straight talk and was given a Samsung metro pcs can I use my current service with it

If it is unlocked, Maybe. Try the SIM card.
In the next few months you will discover that phones from other networks will not easily work on AT&T. Don't give away or throw out your old phone.
