100s of blank text msgs received back to back

We suggest running your device through our Troubleshooting Tool. Simply sign into your account, navigate to Fix and Issue, under Communication select Messaging. This will provide us with our top resolutions.

Please provide us with the following information:

• Have you tried removing yourself from the group text message and rejoining? This can help if your device is duplicating text messages.
• What is your signal like when these messages appear. You need proper signal to send and receive text messages. This can cause messages to appear to be blank.
• How long has then been going on? This will let us know if we need to look more into your device or our network.

The same thing is happening to me! Always between 3am -5am at that.  I am receiving blank or repeat messages and the notification sounds off with each one,  waking me up from my sleep. Help!!

It happens in various chats not just group.

I am usually home on wifi when it happens. 

It's been happening at least once a week since Jan 2022 when I had the Note 20. I got my S22 ultra in March and the issue continued.
