Not able to submit the unlock request
Hi,
I have purchased non-contract locked iPhone SE from the AT&T store last year (09/Jul/2018) and I had the prepaid connection using that iPhone from 09/Jul/2018 onwards for about one year. Now I am planning to move out of US and would like to unlock my iPhone. When I try to submit the unlock request through https://www.att.com/deviceunlock/#/, I am getting the below error in Step 3.
"Looks like the IMEI number you entered doesn’t match an AT&T device. Try entering it again. Dial *#06# on your mobile phone to make sure you have the right IMEI.".
I have verified the IMEI number multiple times in my iphone, but not able to submit the unlock request successfully.
Please help me to resolve the issue and to unlock my iphone.

You cannot unlock a phone until it is past the return date.

If your phone meets all other qualifications for unlocking, and AT&T still declines to unlock your phone, file an FCC complaint online
https://www.att.com/esupport/article.html#!/wireless/KM1262649?gsi=qj1dlk
If you were getting the message that your IMEI does not match an AT&T device, and your device was replaced by warranty or insurance, AT&T only has record of your original phone. The solution is to call AT&T tech support and tell them about the warranty replacement and have them fix it in their system. They have to manually replace the IMEI.

@wanglelele I suggest you check other databases for blacklist status. If the phone is indeed blacklisted AT&T will not unlock it. I’m not sure how you’re still using it if it is blacklisted.
