After the AT&T booster is set up can the ethernet cable be disconnected from my gateway? My gateway is too far away from a window to have the ethernet connected and the GPS attached to a window.
No. Because the AT&T Booster isn't really a booster; it's a femtocell, meaning that it connects your phone to an AT&T server over the Internet. You might be able to move the "Booster" away from the window after setup, or I believe there is a way to run an external GPS antenna (and a bigger antenna might not need to be as close to the window).

You also posted this in AT&T prepaid. Prepaid doesn't allow you to register AT&T's LTE MicroCell to an account which is required
