Nokia 6.1 (Nokia 6 2018) TA-1068
Hi,
This is the international version, will this be fully supported on the fully LTE bands for USA?
https://www.amazon.com/Nokia-TA-1068-Unlocked-International-Warranty/dp/B07BVDG8P1
I got the HTC 10 and it was the international version and it went to 3g every time I was on a call.
Here is the USA version, https://www.bestbuy.com/site/nokia-6-1-with-32gb-memory-cell-phone-unlocked-copper-black/6219312.p?skuId=6219312
But for $30 less I could get the 64GB international version with 4GB of ram which would be awesome if it is indeed fully compatible.
I appreciate any help.
Thanks

Based on the Amazon information, the international version has these LTE bands
LTE: Band1,3,4,5,7,8,20,28,34,38,39,40,41.
ATT uses bands 2,4,5,12/17 and 30. 12/17 being the major bands.
so expect a 3g experience with that phone
The US version will get LTE.

Use an ATT LTE phone IMEI as a dummy in the system. Any old phone you can stick in a drawer (can’t have 2 active phones with same IMEI out there.). Call ATT to put in a ticket for this. Typically activating the SIM in the ATT phone, then move it does the job.

Good afternoon @mcasey6747
I appreciate the detailed info you included in your post. It’s a great help!
Check out our network frequency site, this details all the needed requirements for a phone to work best with our towers.
If you start to notice issues with service, it could be the network not communicating properly. If this is the case, please check your APN settings which assist with the best network connectivity.
When a non AT&T device is activated on our network, full functionality is not guaranteed.
I hope you have a great day!

Thank you Liz, so I should likely go with the 32gb.

Unless you can find the US version in 64 gig, yes.

So they need to keep the IMEI in the system of an old LTE phone? I had to replace the a Samsung S7 I cracked the screen on. Can they somehow get the IMEI back for that phone and use that if that is the case?

Just called 611 and asked them to do this and they said they are prohibited from doing this now?

Lazy rep... But you needed the IMEI to give to the rep also... I have done this many many times over the last 4 years.
