Remote Access for Nighthawk LTE Mobile Hotspot Router

I have purchased a ATT Nighthawk LTE Mobile Hotspot Router. How do I establish remote access. I was told when I purchased the router that I would be able to. I am successfully using an arlo camera through this router and can access the camera remotely through the arlo app. So it makes sense there must be a way to access the usage information and battery level information on the router remotely. 

The genie app nor nighthawk does not recognize device, so the solutions using those apps does not work.  No remote access choice under advanced settings as one article said there was. I cannot access http://attwifimanager remotely I have tried 50 times. I have to be on the routers LAN to access it. 

Netgear has been so difficult to deal with as none of their technicians are up to speed on the device. I have spent hours on hold while trying to find anyone in their technical group that can help. 

Sure would appreciate some guidance here.

On page 14 of the Nighthawk guide manual is a shortcut for downloading the remote access app. There is also information in regard to using the app.
