No "Enter" key when composing text messages on my new Flip 2
I just upgraded from the old Flip IV to the Flip 2. When composing text messages, there is no "Enter" key on the new phone. On the old one, the "OK" key was "Enter". Now the "OK" key is "Send" and I accidentally sent some very short, incomplete messages. Now I just rather jumbled looking messages because it's all one paragraph! Help!

Do you know what messaging app you are using?
There's the stock Samsung Messages app, and now they are pushing the use of Google's own Messages apps. Samsung's app does not have a way to turn off "Enter to Send". If Google's app does, it would be in the app's own "Settings" menu. Tap either three lines or 3 dots at the top of the screen while in the app. Most texting apps (personally, I prefer Textra) have something in Settings about using "Enter to Send" or not.
That's where it would be if they do have a setting for it.

Jessica:
She suggests a number of steps, but gives no indication of how to do them. Also, all this resetting worries me about losing data. This didn't help.
joeldf:
The response sounds like it is for a smart phone and doesn't seem applicable to my Flip 2 U1030AA.

U1030AA is the Flex 2, not the Flip 2. The Flip 2 is smartphone introduced by Samsung in 2021. The Flex 2 is a feature phone white labeled by AT&T with the brand Cingular.
The manual for the U1030AA is here: https://www.att.com/scmsassets/support/wireless/att-midvale-ug-en-v3-0309.pdf
That's about what we know about that phone. Good luck.

You're right. You said Flip, but I guess you meant Flex 2.

"Flip" had me thinking it was a Samsung.

Sorry about the "flip" versus "flex"! I have already consulted the manual and it is no help with this issue.
