I forgot to shut it down today and left it in a drawer at my work, should it be ok? It won't over heat?

After doing some research, I was able to confirm your device should be fine as long as it is not frequently exposed to hot environments. Here is a link to the User Manual to review the recommended range of temperatures in which this device should operate, as well as other important information.
