Got approval to unlock my Go Phone, but the phone never asked for the unlock code. Is it unlocked?
I got approval to unlock a Go Phone. The instructions said to put the new, non-AT&T SIM card into the phone, enter the unlock code, and press "okay."
Well, when I put the new SIM card in, I got a text message from my phone company (Consumer Cellular, if it matters) saying that my phone would be configured. Then I got some notices saying it was configured. After that, everything just worked (phone,4G, etc.).
So...is my phone even unlocked? Or is it not necessary to unlock it since Consumer Cellular uses the AT&T network?
If it isn't unlocked, will the unlock code I received work in the future if I go to a different network?

Consumer Cellular uses ATT and T-Mobile, so I suspect you are right, you are on ATT and your phone is not yet unlocked. I believe the unlock code you got will work whenever you finally need it.
