Why aren't my individual usage details showing all my text messages anymore?

When I log into att.com not all of my telephone calls or text messages are showing up on the log. It used to show almost all but now more than 1/2 are missing. My husband and I invoice most of our clients basted on time spend communicating. We would use the logs to confirm our logs as backup. How can I get a detailed log of ALL calls (including wifi) and ALL text messages?

We definitely understand how important it is to track your detailed wireless usage, and we'd like to help you with that, @Blackjen.

Be advised, we update your usage reports as quickly as we can, but sometimes your usage info may be unavailable or delayed. It can take two to five days for data usage to post in myAT&T, so amounts shown online may not reflect all of your usage since your last bill.

Time stamps for current data or text usage may be off by up to 4 hours in myAT&T. Here are some things to keep in mind:

  • We usually update recent data usage every three hours.
  • You may not be able to see usage since your last bill online, if you have a new account or changed your plan in the middle of a bill period.
  • Usage info may not be available while we’re processing your bill. Usage generated near the end of a bill period may not show up until the next bill period.
  • Additional delays of up to 60 days are possible if the usage takes place outside the U.S.

You may continue to follow these steps for checking your usage:

  1. Go to Usage.
  2. Select the bill period you want to view.
  3. Choose your service type:
    • Wireless-only service: Look in the Usage by number section, find the device you want to manage, and select View more usage details and options. Then choose See data, text, and talk logs.
    • More than one service: Look in the Basic plan usage section, find the device you want to manage, and select View usage details. Then choose how you want to view your details.
  4. Select Download, then choose CSV or Excel. (If you're unable to find these options, use the forward arrows to get to the last page. Once you see all your records, you can download them.)

Feel free to reach back out to let us know if you're still having concerns with reviewing your usage. If so, we'd be happy to still assist you.
