Hi there I Jus got my HTC 8x and am not getting my Microsoft account and my update is only at 8.0 when I should a 8.1 what's going on I need a update to use my phone please
@Muffnmann It is not possible to have an active SIM card or phone number without an account. If you don't have an account, then it must belong to someone else.
The phone was given to me by a friend due to mine being stolen and she was moving away. She hasent been using the phone cuz she has a new iphone. The phone asks for a puk code to unlock the sim. I don't kno the phone or account number for this phone.
@Muffnmann Only the account owner can get the code. Ask your friend for the code. However, if they are now using another phone, that SIM card is probably no longer active. The code likely won't do you any good. Just get yourself a new SIM card.
