NO SIM after samsung update

Updated my A52 phone with the new Samsung software update on 10/14 and after the phone restarted my phone is reading NO SIM...unable to make phone calls/text messages/use data...went by the At&t store and they replaced the sim card twice. They confirmed its working and the sim card is being read by the device. I'm just not able to link to the network. Any ideas people? Thanks again

That's odd for sure.  You can go through Samsung for a warranty replacement if it's been under 1 year since date of purchase.

Similar problem - started after October update - Samsung Note 20 Ultra. It started right after the update. Restarting the phone helps temporarily, so doesn't seem likely a SIM or phone problem.

To answer your question, we suggest you to please take the Sim out of the device and insert it back. And try to reset you network in the Samsung device and let us know if the same thing repeats.

Reset network settings

If you are having connectivity issues, you can try resetting your network settings. Swipe down from the Notification bar, then select the

Settings icon > scroll to and select General managementReset > select Reset network settings > Reset settings > select Reset to confirm.

Note: Resetting your network settings deletes previously associated Wi-Fi networks, security passcodes, Bluetooth devices and cellular network data settings.
