ATT wireless Internet

Approximately a month ago my wireless internet went from historically very good to awful. We live in a rural area (75754) and dont have any wired internet options. My wife depends on this for work, and if it does not get resolved soon, we will have to reach out to verizon to see if they can provide a usable service. The data on our phones has suffered as well

Hello @kcotton69

Thanks for the post and the results of your recent data speed test. We can definitely help with your AT&T Wireless Internet speed.

We have checked network coverage in Van Zandt, Co TX. 4G LTE coverage in the area is good & capable of approximately 5-12Mbps down. However, you may experience somewhat slower speeds depending on how many connected devices, and what activities are being preformed.

Remember, when multiple devices are connected at once to Wi-Fi - your home network is only as fast as the slowest device connected.

Are you using the AT&T Wireless Internet (MF279) base? How many connected devices are you using at once? Since the "historically very good speeds" time-frame, have you added any new connected devices? What are you doing while online - streaming, email, or are you streaming and using your phone at the same time? Can you connect a device to the Ethernet port to obtain a wired connection, then test your internet speed?

This information will help us isolate the issue and provide a solution. Thank you!

Service is still terrible. What changed on your end? We haven't changed anything here. I am including pictures and screenshots to show you what I am dealing with. It is practically un-usable. This particular speed test was conducted at 9:45 PM on Saturday 3/30/19. Not exactly peak hours. I am including a picture of my wireless unit and screenshots of speed test and connected devices. Please help me. My wife is on the verge of losing her job over this.
