Let's help get your WiFi Calling working again, !

First, make sure that you're connected to WiFi. Now, disable/enable the feature as a reset:

  1. Tap Settings on your phone, then tap Cellular (Apple devices) or Connection (Android devices).
  2. Check if Wi-Fi Calling's listed.
    • If it is, select Wi-Fi Calling.
    • If not, your phone isn’t compatible.
  3. Review important info and confirm your emergency 911 address.

Also, troubleshoot WiFi Calling by navigating to our wireless support article and select sign in to start a session. You may find related causes and will definitely be provided with top personalized solutions. Please let us know how these tips work out for you.

I can't make or receive calls either. It's started freezing up constantly. I talked to an agent, no luck. He couldn't fix. He created a ticket for a tech to call...no call. Can I just get this crap replaced? Less than a year old and not used much at all. I use it when I go out mostly and need it in case of emergency. Getting old and need it.

You can replace that device, @lagaile! Take a look at our selection of AT&T Prepaid Phones including Samsung and LG prepaid phones.

Also, it's possible to visit your nearest AT&T Store to pick out a replacement device.

We hope this info helps. If you have any more questions or concerns let us know so that we can provide support.

The phone is under warranty. How does that work?

Thank you for your response @lagaile.

If your device is still under warranty you will then need to reach out to the manufacturer of your device. They will be the ones who can assist you with getting a replacement device.

We hope this helps! Thank you for contacting AT&T Community Forums.

AT&T have no idea how to fix anything, they give you the run around! Looking into Google Fi as a replacement service. They just want you to keep spending money! Their solution is to have you throw money at without resolving the actual issue.

Don't get a new phone, it does NOT fix the problem.  We did that today and while in the store the AT&T agent couldn't get it to work either.  This is an AT&T problem they are not addressing.

We now have a brand new phone and that one won't work either.  No wifi calling.  This is true as of today 9/7/22

This just started with my Samsung Galaxy S20+ today (9/7/22). I've never had any issues with this phone. I received a message that I should turn on WiFi Calling. Thing is, I never turn it off, but it was randomly disabled. I've been trying to get it back on for a couple of hours now. Phone resets, airplane mode toggling, etc. Nothing.

Wondering if the latest update from the other day has anything to do with it.
