Transfer prepaid number to a new carrier

I cannot find any information on how to port my existing phone number from a prepaid plan over to a new carrier. When I call the customer service line, its only automated menus with no option to speak with a representative.

Hello @suhler

Thank you for your patience as we are currently experiencing high volumes due to the COVID-19 crisis.

We'd hate to see you go but in order to see if your number will transfer you will need to contact the new service provider to see if they can accept the number.

Let us know if you have any more questions!

@ATTHelp They have said they can. What is the next step in the process to get the needed porting information?

You need your prepaid account number and pin. Unfortunately, the only way to get a prepaid account number is to call, it is not available online.

@sandblaster Do you know who to call? The pre-paid service number does not offer any option to speak with a human to get the transfer PIN.

Yes it does. You just need to say “agent” at the prompts or hit 0. Dial 611 from your mobile or the prepaid support 800 number. There are no other numbers.
