Receive text messagea while traveling internationally

Hi there, 

I have a prepaid plan and I'm now in europe. I didn't plan to use any roaming or anything but i happen to need to be able to receive one text message (not iMessage) from Chase bank. 

I tried turning on roaming/cellular and manually select a carrier service but none of that seems to work. It just says No Service. 

information available online doesn't seem to answer my question. 

What should I do in this case?
