Let's look into a resolution for you, @ttuu01!

In order to provide a resolution with your device's inability to send text messages, we just want to know more about your experience.

• What is the make and model of your device? Whether flip phone or smartphone (Android or Apple iOS) there are specific settings within your device which can help resolve your experience.
• How long has this been happening on your phone and are you able to make and receive incoming calls? If calls aren't sending and coming in, it's likely that trend on your device is specifically network related. Reach back and verify your ZIP code so that we can check for planned network maintenance for system improvement or enhancement.

Also, if you haven't already, try resolving your experience by powering your device off then back on again. This action closes all programs and finalizes all pending input and output operations before opening the operating system... usually resolving any unexpected trends on devices.
