911 Calls coming from previous landline number.
Hi police has came here 3 nights in a row
because someone's calling 911 from what they say is a landline number associated with my address. The thing is I don't have a landline.
I'm suspecting it might have something to do with the old telephone lines still in my house
causing this issue, this is a confusing situation and not exactly sure how to go about this, i tried reaching out to at&t customer support but they were no help.

Old lines or not, there would have to be a phone number still associated with them to do this, if you know who the old owners are ask them if they canceled their phone service. We've had several complains like this and what it amounts to is what's called mutilated digits, so like if a line is swinging short do to wind and shorting the lines together that can simulate a dial pulse, but since it's not really dialing the office switch can't tell what it is so the default was to send to 911 in case it was someone trying to dial but couldn't do it correctly due to injury or stroke or other reason, hence mutilated digits. The police should be able to tell you the number that called 911.

You can try an FCC complaint when you can't get anywhere with customer service.
