Setting up WiFi calling

I have an at&t sims card and a Verizon phone. In settings, I do not have the WiFi calling option (or cannot find it). Does anyone know if this is because at&t, perhaps, does not support WiFi calling on another carriers device? Can do most anything else with the phone except call from my home. Can connect to wifi for internet, social media, etc. Thanks in advance for any help or info.

Neither Verizon nor AT&T are permitting non-branded Android phones from using Wi-Fi calling, with very few unlocked (non branded Android) exceptions.

Since you say you have a Verizon phone , you will not be able to use Wi-Fi calling on AT&T, but you could on Verizon.

You also probably do not have voice over LTE, which means when 3-g shuts down in your area you would lose the ability to make voice calls

That is what I was afraid of. Thanks so much for your input.
