What do ActiveArmor blocked callers hear when they call
If I block a number in the ActiveArmor app, what will a caller from that number hear when they try calling?

Hi @robgrie! let's get the information that you require about the Active Armor.
To answer your question, a blocked caller will hear one ring and will automatically be redirected straight to voicemail if applicable on the recipient phone.
While ActiveArmor does work to block unsafe calls automatically, it works a bit differently from a standard block list. If an incoming caller's number has been flagged and determined to be spam or fraud, then ActiveArmor will block it or send it to voicemail, based on the call preferences on the app.
Hope this information helps! Please feel free to reach out to us, if you have any further questions/concerns.
Thank you for contacting AT&T Community & Forums,

The reason I asked is that an AT&T rep told me on the phone that blocking numbers with ActiveArmor "blocks it at the switch", so they never reach voicemail; that said, I wondered what indications they'll have that their call has been blocked. But the more I look, I tend to believe your answer. Thank you for your response!
