Trying to text photo to another device
Trying to text a photo to another device but it fails. I checked my settings and both SMS and MMS messaging are turned on. This only happens when I try to send to a non- Apple device. It works no problems when sent to another Apple iPhone.

Is cellular data on and working? You must have a working cellular data connection to send or receive MMS messages. Also, the “failed” notice does not always mean it failed. I have resent failed pictures before only to get the reply “why did you send that picture twice”?

I think you nailed it! My cellular data is turned on. But I’m inside my first floor apartment where my cell reception is awful. I have my Wi-Fi Calling turned on so voice calls are never an issue.

I have the same problem when my parents try to send pictures to me or to each other. We are both on wireless connections with no problems. I have an iPhone and they have androids. This is an AT&T problem and they refuse to fix it!
