Spam text messages
I am constantly getting spam texts from the same people who appear to have the wrong number. They come in from different numbers each time but are always addressed to Carlos Reyes who is not me!! I get almost 1-2 a day! Aside from the do not call registry, how can I make them stop? I am getting really frustrated that my number is out there for anybody to call.

Having numerous text messages come in for someone else can get old quickly. I am glad to offer some helpful solutions for you!
Reporting the number and messages to us will help report the information and hopefully block future contacts. We have a great article on how to report them. Once reported, you can check out our other AT&T article which has options to help block these kinds of messages and calls.
Changing your wireless number is one option to prevent them from contacting you. This process does have a cost associated with it, so I definitely recommend this as a last resort option. You can find additional information about this process at the above link.
