Received MMS from 73303 code
My setting is turned on that MMSs don't download automatically. I have to press on them. I have received some downloads from the code 73303. What is this before I click? Also, my husband has sent a photo before and it comes through from the number 1, not his number. Group texts also ask to be downloaded first, why? What's 73303?

We are noticing an increase of view regarding this thread.
It looks like 73303 is the short code used by Vehicle Intro. If you do not want to receive messages from Vehicle Intro, please reply with “STOP” or “CANCEL.”

I too received an SMS (well technically I guess this was an MMS) message from 73303. I too have multi-media messages blocked so I have to approve them.
I did not OPT-IN to receive these messages from Vehicle Agency nor do I trust them. (They are a Mobile Marketing Provider - AKA an Advertiser).
While I am curious about what they sent, I refuse to download the message. If I had a limited Plan (as far as messaging goes), I'd be a bit more upset. As it is, I am not happy that they are trying to suck up my bandwidth with advertising. I guess there is no place to escape this garbage.

Update, apparently it's from ATT and their "Direct TV" segment. (Now that they have bought it.) It is apparently a "Video".
On my Phone the message just came up with a "Download MMS" message (because I have them blocked as a result of the Stage fright) but I also use https://messages.att.net and there I still have to "Download" it but

So it was sent by AT&T but since some of us block MMS messages, we don't know for sure what it is. I, however, am glad I blocked it. 🙂
