No mobile data services: Temporarily turned off by your carrier for SIM 1

I woke up to this notification. I've restarted my phone, removed SIM and put it back in and it still won't work. I am able to use the 4g mobile data but I can't make any calls! Somebody, please help!

Hi, @prithvi94,

Have you been able to make calls since making this post? If not, we'd love to see what's going on. To do so, we'll need some account information.

We are sending you a private message (PM) to help in this matter. Please check your forums private messages by clicking the Forums Inbox. Locate the PM from ATTCares and reply to the message with your specific account details.

No mobile data service. Turned off temporarily by carrier. Well, called ATT and of course they didnt know. Said wasnt on their side. So she said she googled it. Told me power down a reset my factory settings. I said no,  I wasnt trying that not if you googled it. I said I can do that too. She was no help. Screenshot_20190506-170516_Messages.jpg

Same problem. It's something in the phone that att has no idea about and therefore no idea how to correct. Neither does Samsung by the way, so don't waste your time like I did. It's unfortunate but the only solution is a factory reset. I hope the Android guys can figure this one out so we don't have to go through this dumb trouble.

Hey you have some plumbing problem in your home. Let's level the entire lot of land and rebuild it from scratch since we don't know where that problem is.

Love it

Hello!

I also have this problem. Same symptoms as the others here. I just returned from Japan. While I was in Japan, I was on the DOCOMO Network.

Update: At first all I did was turn Roaming off. Still got notifications. Went back into Airplane mode and left Roaming off. Came out of Airplane mode and so far so good. 🙂

I am having the same problem. I currently an I not receiving all my calls so I had to change my vmail to notify incoming callers. It is so annoying. I would get the notification "Mobile network temporarily turned off by your carrier." with this symbol ⚠️. Has anyone been able to resolve this??

I've been getting this message for the past few months as well... sometimes (like today) about 10+ times a day.

Haven't had a lot great service lately, My office "block" is a dead zone with no data coverage. Calls come in but are buggy at best.

I HAVE CALLED ATT 4 TIMES IN THE PAST. MY 5TH TIME TODAY. THEY WALK ME THROUGH THE STEPS OF RESETTING NETWORK SETTINGS. KEEP IN MIND MY ISSUE IS ABOUT THE SERVICE PROVIDER TEMPORARILY TURNING OFF. SO RESETTING THE NETWORK SHUTS OFF WIFI. WITHOUT WIFI I AM LEFT WITH A PHONE THAT CAN'T MAKE CALLS AT ALL. SO THE SUPERVISOR SAID IT WAS A TOWER. THE OTHER PEOPLE ON MY PLAN ARE HOME AND HAVE NO ISSUE. SO THE ISSUE MUST BE THE PHONE YET I GAVE MY PHONE TO DAUGHTER AND THE NEW PHONE GAVE THE SAME NOTIFICATION.
