No longer seeing delivery/read receipts in massaging

I am no longer able to view read receipts or delievery receipts to other android users, bit none of my setting options have changed. How can I get this back?

Hello @Sedavey92,

We are here to help! Advanced messaging has been updated and not all devices are optimized to support it. Its possible that the receivers of your messages cannot support the feature. Check out this page on Advanced messaging for more information. Thank you.

Hi @Sedavey92!

Let's figure out what's going on with your messaging app!

You might be able to find a solution by using our Troubleshoot & Resolve Tool. Just click the link, select your device, and then select Messaging under the Service/Network Issues section.

Let us know if this helps!

Hello,

Thank you for your response. I tried this and it ends up with having to choose between 3 options: cannot send messages, receive messages, or both. However, I can send and receive messages - just not see if they've been delivered or read.

Thank you,

Sarah Davey

I have a galaxy S9 and my husband has the S8. We never had this problem before the update, is that normal?
