I called this number. They want my ATT phone number or account number. I have neither. I just want old wires from landlines removed from outside my house. Who do I call about this?

We have an old land phone line in our back yard where we are wanting to dig.  Can we remove it or does AT&T need to come and remove it?

As long as you don't interfere with anyone's service or create a hazard to the public you can do it.
