model 1070 on hold indicator light not going off after answered by ML17929
I have a customer using (3) 1070 phones and (1) ML17929 - when a call is placed on hold with the 1070 and picked up by the ML17929 the on hold indicator light on the 1070 does not change - it continues to flash green and beep on the 1070 even after the call is answered and then ended on the 17929 - this does not happen with the other 1070 phones. Has anyone encountered this or know of a fix? was thinking it was an issue with the difference of models

I'm sure the 1070 used a data link between phones to control the features like hold and intercom. Where the ML17929 is strictly a tip and ring device. It will probably light the line in use light because a loss of the 48 volts battery is what lights it on the 1070, but that's about it, it has no control over the functions on the 1070. Not compatible for what you want it to do.
