Adding my email back onto Macbook Catalina 10.15.7
It started with me changing my password at MyAT&T email account using my browser. Since then I cannot add my email account back into mail on the Macbook. I was able to get my iphones and ipads working. I've contacted Apple Care and after trying they asked me to contact AT&T.
We keep getting the same message "authentication failed, failed to authenticate with Yahoo, please try again later". I still have a couple of other emails that didn't get a password change that still work on the Macbook as Yahoo mail.
We have gotten the current imap,smtp paths and ports from this site. Still not working.

Appreciate that you've tried few troubleshooting steps to resolve this.
Since the password reset didnt work, we'd recommend that you try logging in using a secure mail key, where you can login directly without entering the password.
