reset @att.net account e-mail password when answers to security questions are forgotten

Hello,

I can get e-mail through Microsoft Outlook because it has a Secure Mail Key but I cannot log in to online e-mail at

currently.att.yahoo.com/   because I do not remember the answers to the security questions and recent ZIP codes do not work.

The e-mail address was originally associated with Land line service, Long Distance service, and AT&T Worldnet accounts, disconnected for several years.  The e-mail address was moved to Yahoo.com a while ago.

I have called  the following numbers without resolution:

1-800-288-2020 - AT&T help line

1-877-999-1085 -

1-800-285-0162 - Digital Assistance

I would appreciate any ideas and suggestions.

Thank you for your help.

Hi there, @jweiler03. We understand that you are unable to get to your email online. We can help with that.

Thank you for trying the support numbers. Since they did not prove fruitful, we will try a different tactic.

We will be moving you over to the Direct message space, so we can talk one-on-one together.

Your will notice a chat icon, next to a bell icon, located at the upper right part of this thread. Our next message will appear there.

In the meantime, please gather your account information together, because we will ask for it.

Please look out for that Direct Message.

@jweiler03   Please let us know if ATTHelp was able to fix your issue and if they did, what was required.

For future reference, the Digital Assistance Center is now at 877-285-0117.
