How to stop currently.com redirects

I have had 2 yahoo emails for years.  Last week I switched to Att Internet.  Whenever I try to log into my regular yahoo email, it redirects to a website called currently.com with AT&T.  How do I stop this? I have to go into incognito window and go to mail.yahoo.com just fine.  Also can access mail.yahoo.com on my phone browser just fine.  But on my regular PC, it redirects to currently. I don't have an ATT email and do NOT want this redirect without my permission. How do I remove this currently.com redirect whwnever I type in mail.yahoo.com

Hi, @Avl.

We already answered this question in your other thread. As Marc stated, getting rerouted to the Currently website is normal and you can access your Yahoo! email there.

Please refrain from creating multiple threads for the same issue. If you need help with anything else, just let us know.

Thank you for contacting the community forums team.

I thought this was a different forum as customer service directed me here.  I am glad it's normal for you all but I don't want this currently site.  Kindly let me know how to stop the redirect?  Again, I did not agree to this and would like to go back to using mail.yahoo.com as I have for years and years.  I do not wish to use currently.  If this was an ATT email account, I would understand.  But this is an Yahoo email I have for years before using ATT fiber and wish to stay on their site. (I do know y'all merged but the 2 companies are still separate)

And furthermore that last person that answered my question lied.  He stated that the mail.yahoo.com doesn't exist and hasn't for over a year.  That is completely untrue and shows his ignorance.  Hopefully you will actually be able to tell me in clear terms how to stop the redirects and give me unhelpful platitudes.

I am sick and tired of constant redirects every time I access my Yahoo Home Page. The screen flashes white several times then I either get a blank white screen or I wind up on an ATT site. I have to repeat the procedure sometimes two or three times before I am logged into my Yahoo account.  FIX THIS ATT!!! You are just trying to hijack our homepages to try and sell us something. BTW, as "Avl" said above, mail.yahoo.com still works after I finally get logged in!

"We already answered this question in your other thread. As Marc stated, getting rerouted to the Currently website is normal and you can access your Yahoo! email there." This said by an AT&T Community Specialist! No, it is NOT normal. When I click my home button in EDGE or FIREFOX, I expect it to go to my YAHOO home page and NOT get redirected to AT&T. This is called HIJACKING!

If you have a yahoo.com account you log in through the yahoo.com page.  If you have an AT&T account (att.net, currently.com, sbcglobal.net, bellsouth.net, etc etc) then you have to log in through that currently.com login screen.

But if you check the box that says to keep you logged in when you enter your credentials, you can have yahoo.com as your browser's home page.  As long as you don't log out, or if you aren't one of the people whose accounts are being attacked forcing a password reset, this will get you where you want.

Oh, and this whole thread belongs in the Email forum so I'm moving it there.  When you come back to this post you will be in the Email forum.

You are not understanding. I have had My. Yahoo. Com as my customized home page for many years. I never had a problem logging in to it until last few months. My email IS an att domain, always was. Now when I login, it redirects me to att! I want nothing to do with this page even though I know it’s where I go to make changes to my att email account.  Checking the box to keep me logged in does absolutely nothing. I still get redirected to att. Eventually after two or three tries, my customized Yahoo page comes up. This is called browser hijacking! Understand the issue first!

I understand completely.  The procedure I outlined works exactly as I described.  If it doesn't on your computer then that's an issue on your end, not at AT&T (unless, as I said, you are one of the people with the "too many failed login" issue, which you have not confirmed or denied).

Have you tried a different browser?  Have you cleared cache and cookies from your default browser?

Sir, you are not helpful at all. Of course I can get my att email on att! I can also get it on Yahoo, which is my preference. I have tried Edge, Firefox and Chrome. Same problem. It is NOT “an issue on my end”. Others are describing the same thing! If my computer is being attacked, it’s by ATT, as it goes straight to their homepage to sell me Wireless service! As I previously said, after 2 or 3 logins, I finally get my customized Yahoo home page.

Just like ATT to blame the customer!
