How to activate a debit card
Just want to let you all know that I changed my service from AT & T to Consumer Cellular because it was far cheaper. I received an AT & T Mastercard debit card as a refund on my balance. This is administered through @northlane.com and @sunrise banks. It is impossible to activate. If I go to the AT & T site and put in the number, it says invalid. If I go to the Mastrcard site it says invalid number. I can't get a response from any of the numbers or emails. Many many people are posting on line about how bogus these cards are and that they often don't work, even once activated. AT & T should be ashamed.

Hi @cherylann123456,
The Community Forums are a public support option where other users, and AT&T, will try and assist with high level support needs. This means we won’t be able to look into account specific concerns. To get the help you need for your unique issue, please review our Contact Us page, and choose the best option to reach out to us. You can call, chat, or reach out via social media, and we can review your specific issue and provide you support. If you feel your issue isn’t account specific, and can be answered generally, please let us know, and we’ll be happy to help.
Let me know how it goes.
For further assistance we're here to assist you.

Ok? This is a public forum so that would be the same as you walking down the street telling strangers.

So calling the support number nothing happens? Or are you waiting on hold or something? If truly no response after everything then consider a BBB complaint to the card issuer.
AT & T should be ashamed.
Well they are not. So work with the card issuer (which isn't owned by AT&T) and get it resolved.
