Receiving emails delayed by hours

More details. Message from someone who said they were getting while emailing to me:

The Emails in sbcglobal.net I am monitoring are from a email group of at least 36 users that are mostly gmail users. At least 12 "reply all" were used within a day with all threads also sent compounding with each "reply all". Could this be multiplying my email count to exceed the receive limits and put me into delayed queue?

I talked to someone from at&t about this. They said it should be fixed in 72 hours. I got $25 off my bill by calling and complaining.
