Using 3rd Party E-mails with your AT&T Account

Reasons to use AT&T for your E-mail purposes

  • One stop shop for all your E-mail handling
  • 3rd party E-mails may be blocked by our servers due to it not being verified. If that is the case, you will need to go through the verification process.
  • For certain 3rd party E-mails that use port 25 to send e-mails, AT&T blocks port 25 for anti-spamming reasons. You might need to go through the verification process to help bypass that issue.

How to Verify Third Party E-mails

  1. Log in to att.net, and open your email inbox.
  2. Select the gear icon in the upper-right corner of the page, and select Settings.
  3. Select Writing email.
  4. In the Add send-only address field, enter the email address you'd like to add.
  5. Select Verify. A verification message will be sent to the email address you entered.
  6. Select the verification link in the message to verify your account.
