Unable to install Mcafee Internet Security on a PC
I own a iMac that already has McAfee Internet Security from AT&T installed and it's working with no issues. I recently bought a new PC laptop and am attempting to install McAfee Internet Security from AT&T on the computer. However, when I see the screen that says "my apps" tab, the dropdown box only shows "3-user McAfee for MAC" and "Install antivirus plus elite" as options, with no mention of McAfee for PC. I thought we were able to download to 3 computers whether they were Mac or PC. Please help as I don't see any posts asking for assistance in this particular case...Thanks in advance.

We've got you covered here! Since its a new PC, we suggest that you perform a per-installation cleanup on your PC. also you can install internet Security Suite on up to four computers, whether they're Windows, Macs or both.

*****SOLUTION THAT WORKED******
So I had the same issue as everyone else for the most part.
I couldn't install McAfee Antivirus since it said I was not authorized as the primary user. I am running on the Internet 300Mbps package. I ended up contacting a technician and had to pay $50 for a 1 time assistance fee. They remotely logged into my computer (with my permission of course) and once they were able to install it, I figured out why I couldn't install it my self. Save yourselves the troubles and make sure that you do the 2 following steps:
1. That you install Internet Explorer 11 (did not work with Internet Edge, Firefox and Chrome) and the go to att.net/iss
2. Log in with your primary user ID (the one you registered first only, otherwise the other user id's created after will not work)
Go through all the prompts and you should be able to download the software. I saw the technician do it remotely and it worked.
