McAfee shredder

I downloaded & installed the latest McAfee internet security program and now I no longer get the shredder I had with the previous version. Anyone know how I can get this.

Hi @intenet,

Do you see QuickClean as an option? It may be located there.

I haven't tried quickclean but what I expected was to see mcafee
shredder in the context menu when I right click on a file. The shredder
was also part of the free mcafee program available if you subscribe to
AT&T internet.

Hi,

We apologize about that. From the research I did, it does not appear Mcafee shredder is offered with the internet security suite. It may have been in the past, but it does not look like a feature that is provided now. We are sorry for the inconveniences.

Here's the scoop;
When I first installed McAfee from the AT&T download McAfee Security
Scan Plus was installed. This does not include the shredder. After
looking into it further I decided to reinstall McAfee using the same
install program I downloaded from AT&T and this time it installed the
McAfee Security Center. I have no ideal why the Security Center wasn't
installed the first time I ran the program. In any case the Security
Center contains the Shredder as well as a few other items.
