Closed settings out of date

About two weeks ago I lost the ability to access my email account on both my computer and my android phone.

I am using Mail for Windows 10 and it is running the current updates on my computer.

I get a popup that says my account settings are out of date.

When I try entering a new or updated password I get a message on Mail that says, "We couldn't access this account: Bellsouth. You might need to update your password or give the account permission to sync to this device."

Nothing seems to work to give me the access I need.

This account is over 20 years old and I've never had this problem.

I access the account on my phone and computer several times a day so there is not an issue of the account being inactive.

I must have access to send/receive emails daily since I have many emails which are critical.
