Annoying popup

I keep getting an email in my ATT.NET account in-box from "DatemyAge.com" I have tried everything to get rid of it. I have used multiple malware programs and they find nothing, yet the email continues to stay in my in-box. I have never used the site and do not intend to. What do I need to do to get rid of this?

Sounds like it might be the "fake e-mail" Ad at the top of your e-mail list.  A screenshot could help us confirm.  If it is what I think it is, there's an ellipses menu button (with a hover text of "Ad feedback") at the right end of it that has a choice labeled "go ad-free."  Clicking this will try to sign you up for Yahoo Mail+ for $5/month.

Maybe an Ad blocker would also get rid of it.

Yes, it is at the top of the email list. I have tried a ad blocker and it still won't go away. appreciate the intial comments.. It doesn't seem to have any additional attachments that could be causing harm 3 malware programs attempted and none seem to find anything suspicious.  Any other ideas from the forum appreciated..

Let's help put a stop to those unwanted pop-up ads, @tlkelly94!

Thanks to @JefferMC for your input.

We've got a helpful article all about managing advertisement settings in AT&T emailYour AT&T email detects keywords in your mail to personalize new features and relevant content just for you. You have the option to turn off this feature in your account. You can also choose whether or not you'd like your ads to be based on your interests.

Here's how you can manage these settings:

  1. Go to the Ad Interest Manager.
  2. If you are currently able to see ads based on your interests, the Interest-Based Ads box will say Currently On. To change this, select the Opt out button.
  3. If you currently don't see ads personalized to you, the Interest-Based Ads box will display Currently Off. To change this, select the Opt in button. You can then choose the categories that match your interests.

Please feel free to reach back out if you need help in the future. Thank you for contacting the AT&T Community Forums!
