Free internet for life
Hi,
I'm have been on AT&T since 2018, and I sign up for free internet for life offer. So far, 2024. Everything seems fine. Recently my wireless phone plan rate went up $6, which was not big deal for me.
But now, AT&T is sending me emails and mails after mails saying if I don't upgrade my line to att fiber my internet at home will stop working after may 10th 2024 I believe.
But when I call att, the representative stated my free home internet life won't work if I upgrade my line to fiber. This is total (Edited per community guidelines). I don't want to upgrade my line, att is sending me emails and mails to upgrade my home internet to fiber or else lose service after may 10 2024.
Im also thinking about canceling att and switch to mint mobile.

Threatening will fall on deaf ears.
And as for your actual concern, that horse has left the barn and ain’t coming back. Att will kick people off DSL, so make peace with that.
As for the special plan arrangements “for life”, what they neglect to tell you is as long you don’t make plan changes. BTDT.
