I have dsl problem

I just move in to a new apartment ando received the gateway, activation date was 6.03. So I connect the data cable (green) to the wall and In to my gateway and then turn the device on but I only get red light on broadband, I tried reset button, gettting in to 192.168.1.254 and resetting from there, changing different wall jack but nothing seems to work, by the way we don’t have phone service but I don’t think that might be the problem

If you have access to the NID and there's a handy power source plug it in there. That will tell you if the service has been completed and working.

I think that would be it, that is not connected, but a technician is gonna come tomorrow to look at it, thanks for the response!
