How do I file a complaint?

How do I file a complaint regarding installations of AT&T fiber when the technician never showed up?  I had to wait around all day, having cancelled other appointments, and nobody showed up.  When I called customer service, I was promised that someone would show up but nobody had arrived by 8 pm even though I was given a 11 am to 1 pm time slot.  At that time, even customer service could not contact the dispatcher.  Very disappointing service and a complete waste of my time.

We definitely understand the frustration of waiting all day for an appointment that never happens. Here is where you can file feedback. Additionally, you can check on the status of your service appointments.

 

In the meantime, do you currently have an appointment scheduled, or is your service still pending installation?

Service installation scheduled for today. Nobody from ATT called, no text, no email message. Checked the order online and it was still scheduled, but the service time had elapsed and no update given. Spent 1 hour and 17 minutes on the phone with ATT asking about status of the order.  They said a technician noted some issue yesterday, but never communicated anything to me. If they would have sent me some communication yesterday that would have made this more acceptable. Instead, I cancel weekend plans. In my phone call with ATT they could not identify when the issued could be resolved. After requesting an executive level complaint, the said they could file that and it would take 6-8 WEEKS for possible installation of services! What???? So I requested an escalation. They informed me that it would take 3-5 business days for anyone from escalation team to get back to me!! I requested that I speak to a Supervisor. They said that was unavailable because all their communication was done via chat. I noted that I would be filing a complain with the FCC and with the Public Service Commission. They did nothing!!!!!!I had worked in Telecom for nearly 12 years, I've worked the technical end of processes, I've personally resolved customer issues, and this is completely unacceptable. What makes this even worse is that ATT has NEW fiber into this NEW building. The building is 1 year old and ATT put fiber into every apartment in the building - and yet they cannot figure out how to deliver service. So, I am left with "it looks like 6-8 weeks for service" which of course is complete nonsense. Can anyone say  hello Public Service Commission?

Can anyone 'say' FCC complaint?? I most certainly can and have done so!! AT&T's Customer Support is utter nonsense!!! The Reps that are usually the most helpful; knowledgeable; do NOT rush you nor try to pass you off on someone else, are the first Rep(s) that you speak with, and the lowest paid I might add!! THEY are the ones that will be totally honest with you as well....like when the problem is most definitely AT&T's!!

Does anyone see a problem here or is it just me, (I will NEVER believe so)? I have been having MAJOR issues for over TWO YEARS now and have spoken with EVERY level of 'Management' IF there is EVER someone available, (which is RARE); been promised that someone in Management on that particular day would call me back within the next two hours, (which NEVER happened); the PROBLEM has been blamed on my PC so I was therefore told I needed to have a SPECIALIST check it out, (which I did at the cost of over $100 just to be told what I already knew-that it WAS NOT MY PC); and the list goes on and on and on....

I too have had "scheduled appointments for a technician to come out" but no one ever called, came, NADA- I have lost count on this one as well; I could go on and on but what's the point?? Bottom line is that when BellSouth 'evolved' into AT&T, EVERYTHING, and I do mean EVERYTHING as far as their Internet Service, (which is the ONLY Service available where I live and AT&T apparently thinks that people that live in small towns and/or rural areas don't need more than 5 mg speed...yeah, let THAT one SINK IN); went to "H*** in a HANDBASKET" as the Old, but Oh So VERY True Saying, In This Case Goes..........

We hope you're enjoying your Service......" really".... after being with ATT for many years.... it has come time to part ways with a company who lies about it service.....I say this because, after being with ATT for several years I decided to add a office line to my home about three years ago in which I asked customers service too add the inside wire protection plan too that line as well in which I already had too my home phone line.... I was assure that it would be, but too my surprise when it came too have some maintenance pull on that line, I was told that my office line was not covered..... and that the plan that I had only covered one line which was the house line and not my office line.... ok both lines are in the same house. I was told by a rep that I would now have too purchase a maintenance plan now for my office line which again is in the same house which I was suppose too already have according to the rep that I set up the office line with..... sad too say after all these years....I've came too the point where enough is enough, and will be ending all dealing with ATT  and its product for lack of customer care and their alternative facts.

I agree there isn't any service with AT&T , DirecTV or any of the phone plans. I am trying to find someone at AT&T so that I can file a complaint. This company is a joke. I am switching everything that I have to other carriers. And a word to the wise, never buy an equipment through AT&T. You cannot file a claim and all of the reps don't know the plans exist. Goodbye to AT&T.

I have been trying to get internet service since July uly30, 2019... It is now October 11,2019 and still haven't got the installment ... They keep canceling my orders, no email, no phone call... Im the owner n only one that can get this done... I payed my deposit for it and have missed a day off work... I work two jobs and only off every other weekend... N they keep making new orders n I still have pending orders also... Now I decided to call, you know to see if the order is still good and look I'm still on the the phone as we speak, just to find out they cancelled it again.... Now again having to put another order in.. .I can't find any help to this problem... I was suppose to get it installed tomorrow 😭😭😭..  So sick and tired of getting pushed around
