Cable Requirements for AT&T High Speed Internet upgrade
As an Amateur Radio operator I need my in-house wiring for a future upgrade from DSL to AT&T High Speed Internet installed with shielded CAT6e cables. I will self-install the in-house wiring.
I was informed that my current DSL installation would be inadequate to conform to the requirements of the upgrade and I needed an additional line.
How many (or parallel) CAT5e/CAT6e cables are required for an AT&T High Speed Internet installation? Would that also apply to the AT&T provided outer line installation?
Thanks for enlighten me.

Hello @pickyham
When they say your current set up is inadequate, what part are they talking about? Are we talking from the Network interface to the Jack where the modem is/will be located? Or are they referring to something else?
Also, when you talk about upgrading, are you talking about our internet up to 100Mbps, or our Gigapower service?
HAM here as well ~ KD3VIL
