Smart Home Manager profile keeps turning off by itself

I have created a profile for my teenager. Supposed to turn off the Internet on his devices (phone, laptop, Xbox) at bedtime and not make Internet available to him again until morning,. It seems to work fine -- except for one big exception. On the profile, there is an on-off button (slide left for off, slide right for on). It seems to turn off by itself. I noticed a few days ago that it was off. I turned it back on. Today I see that it is off again. And yes, I have changed the password to my phone, so I don't think my teenager is changing it.

We understand that your profile keeps turning off on the Smart Home Manager. We're happy to help you.

 

We can help you with your Smart Home Manager profiles. Try deleting the profiles and adding them back and make sure that there are no other downtime schedules set up.

If you're setting them up from a mobile device, try uninstalling and reinstalling the app as well to refresh everything. Let's start with troubleshooting the mobile app. Please follow these steps:

  1. Unintall the app from the device that you are using. 
  2. Clear the app cache.
  3. Turn the device off.
  4. Wait for about 30 seconds.
  5. Turn the device back on.
  6. Re-install the app. 
  7. Open the app.
  8. Log In to your account.
  9. Check to see if the profile has returned.
