Sign into email

I am trying to sign into my email.  I receive a message that the URL exceeds the capacity limit for this sever.  I reset my password but that did not help.  I have not been able to sign in for many months now.  I am not computer savvy.

By clicking on "here" in you email it aloud me to get in to my email.  But I will have to do it that way every day for the rest of my life.  When I tried to sign in again It gave me the same response "URL Too Large".  I haven't really gain anything.

Just what url were using?  Just go to att's home/portal page, start.att.net, and click the mail icon in the upper right.

If ATTCares wasn't the solution why did you mark it as a solution?

Because it got me into my email.  Then I discovered that was the only way I could get in to my email and that takes to much time when it has to be done every day and more than once a day.  That is not satisfactory.

If you don't want to go through start.att.net then simply save the url that mail icon on it goes to, i.e., https://mail.yahoo.com/?.partner=sbc.  Use that.

I asked why you marked ATTCares as a solution because you said it only worked once?

I do not believe anyone understands my problem.  None of these things work for me.  When I try to sign in why do they refer to a URL at all.  A URL does not have an "@" in it.  And I do not know how to copy and save.  There is no one here to help.  I can not do this, I give up!!!!!!!!!!!!

You're right.  No one understands your problem I think because you stated your problem ambiguously.  You said,

I am trying to sign into my email.  I receive a message that the URL exceeds the capacity limit for this sever.

And we have been interpreting that as you want to get to the webmail login (sign in) dialog and your browser is having a problem getting to it due to some kind of URL problem.  If you had said this problem happens when actually trying to log in it might have been more clear.

Have you tried using another browser for comparison and experimentation?
