my att.net stopped working on Friday 8/7/20

Since Friday my att,net email stopped working I can not send or receive any emails. Any attempt to dend an email to my att.net account bounces back as undeliverable. I have not made any changes to my settings on any device including the password. I have had this email address for over 20 years. Someone please help since this email address is my primary email for communication.

We have information on email troubleshooting and settings to help with this issue. You may want to check that your IMAP settings are correct. This can affect emails coming in and going out.

 

We also have a great Troubleshoot and Resolve tool that can walk you through resolving email issues. Follow Common Topics > Email Setup and Repair > Cannot Sign In, Send or Receive Email.

It's unfortunate to hear the prior troubleshooting steps did not support a resolution for you. There are some things you might check outside of that information.

 

In some cases simply resetting your password on the "forgot password' field option, may re-sync and support the ability to access your e-mail and send/receive.

Ok the chat was absolutely useless. Is there a phone no, email address snail mail anything to restore my account???? Once again you can not send an email to that account nor can i log in

One more thing you can do is submit a request to have your emails restored. Click Complete a restore request to begin the process. We hope this helps!
